What weakens my willpower and prevents good food choices? Tiredness, over-hunger, stress/anxiety/emotional struggle, accessibility and visibility of unhealthy/tempting foods (out of sight, out of mind) and an all-or-nothing mentality.
What has helped me succeed in weight loss?
Identifying the triggers and working toward avoiding or compensating for them in a healthy way. I'm finding it easier to create good eating habits with better attention to: management of sleep, mealtimes, emotions, mindfulness of thought patterns, food shopping choices, food storage, meal planning/prepping, realistic goals, practising patience, journalling, and being able to continually start over.
