Set SMART Goals

SMART goals: Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Time-basedIn the short-term, I want to lose 9.5 lbs so that I will reach my "210 lbs lost milestone" and earn my next non-food reward.I will weigh daily and record in my food journals, keeping my calories below 1,200 and my protein at at least 80 grams. I will also get at least 3 hours of exercise per week.The date I plan to reach this goal is March 1, which will require losing an average of 1.5 lbs per week.To do this, I will have to stay focused, accountable and mindful of my habits.Once I meet this goal, I will plan for the next 10-pound loss, and then again 3 more times so that I can get down to 145 lbs, which would take me to a healthy, normal BMI of 24.9.My current BMI is 33.8 and still in the obese category (30 or greater).
