When I was heavier, I also had an on-going battle with psoriasis and eczema. The eczema was more of a problem when I was younger, and caused itchy, weepy bumps between my fingers and toes. That was eventually replaced with nasty, itchy, dry, scaly patches on the backs of my arms, just below my elbows. I noticed that the more weight I gained, the worse this seemed to get. I used steroid cream to minimize it as much as I could, but it was always there... Well, I am happy to tell you that since losing weight, my life-long skin problems have pretty much disappeared completely! This is just one more non-scale victory that came to my mind this morning. When I did a search to see if this is "a thing" for other people, too, I found that, yes, it is! Also, in reading this particular article, I was reminded that I used to have pain in my finger joints, too. It sounds like this was actually something called psoriatic arthritis, and guess what? It is also completely gone now! I LOVE my weight loss! It has solved so many problems in my life, and I'm grateful.
